  • the perimeter of the lake is 22 km. (13.8 miles)
  • major fish species include lake trout, whitefish, smallmouth bass. Rainbow trout were stocked in the lake in the 1970's. Some are still present and reproduce naturally. There is a dwindling population of brook trout but are no longer a prime targeted species. Lake trout and whitefish are the main targets during the ice fishing season
  • Bernard Lake is located within the boundaries of Fisheries Management Zone 15
