  • fishing for smallmouth bass is quite productive along the lake's rocky shoreline and around the 2 islands. Points and drop offs are productive as well
  • a naturally reproducing  lake trout fishery has dropped off over the years resulting in the introduction of a sanctuary period
  • major fish species include smallmouth bass and lake trout
  • Bottle Lake is situated within Fisheries Management Zone 15
