  • Catfish Creek enters the lake on the north end and exits on the south end
  • the lake has several shallow bays that are worth exploring for pike at the start of the season. The Catfish Creek inlet is a good place to start your spring walleye fishing. Try fishing around the two large islands and underwater humps as the season progresses
  • while the lake reaches maximum depths of 132', the average depth is 38'
  • the perimeter of the lake is 11 km (6.9 miles)
  • the surface area is 159 hectares (395 acres)
  • there is a public boat launch on the south end of the lake off of Hwy. 17
  • the major fish species include lake trout, walleye, northern pike, herring and perch
  • Catfish Lake is situated within Fisheries Management Zone 7
