  • Clear Lake, also known as Torrance Lake, is located along Hwy 169  a little south east of the town of Bala Ontario in the Muskoka District
  • this spring fed lake is part of  the Lake Muskoka drainage system. It has a hard sandy bottom
  • while the lake reaches depths of 55', the average depth is 26'. It has a perimeter of 11 km. (7 miles)
  • the lake has been stocked with rainbow trout fingerlings and the fishery is on a "put and take" basis
  • major fish species include large and smallmouth bass, rainbow trout, perch, cisco (herring). Pike appear to have been introduced around 2007
  • Clear Lake is situated in Fisheries Management Zone 15
