  • Commanda Lake is located adjacent to the village of Restoule in the Parry Sound District
  • co-ordinates: Lat. 46° 00' 48"  Long. 79° 41' 58"
  • the lake has mesotrophic features:  relatively shallow (reaching depths of 40'+), moderately fertile favouring a warm water fishery. It is the headwater of the Restoule River system
  • the lake has 10 inflowing creeks and the Restoule River exits via a set of rapids on the north end. The areas around the inflowing creeks are good places to start your search for walleye at the start of the season
  • shallow weedy bays provide good cover for bass and pike
  • fast breaking rubble shorelines, rocky points and shoals are good smallmouth bass and walleye holding areas
  • major fish species include large and smallmouth bass, walleye, pike and black crappie
  • Commanda Lake is situated within Fisheries Management Zone 15
