  • Eva Lake is located approx. 38 km. (24 miles) east of the town of Atikokan in Northwestern Ontario. It is situated on the north side of Trans Canada Hwy 11 across from Quetico Provincial Park
  • co-ordinates:  Lat. 48° 43' 02"  Long. 92° 09' 34"
  • while the lake reaches depths of 180', the average depth is approx. 44'
  • the perimeter of the lake is 67 km. (42 miles)
  • the surface area is 1708 hectares (4220 acres)
  • the Pickerel River flows into the lake on the north side and exits the lake on the south side flowing into Little Eva Lake. Seven other creeks flow into the lake as well
  • the lake has a variety of fish holding structure including islands, fast and gradually tapering drop offs, points, shoals, rock piles, narrows, rock rubble shorelines etc.
  • major fish species include smallmouth bass, northern pike, lake trout and cisco (lake herring)
  • Eva Lake is situated within the boundaries of  Fisheries Management Zone 5
