  • the surface area of the lake is 6,263 hectares (15,476 acres)
  • the lake consists of two distinct sections connected by the Obisaga Narrow

While there are a few sandy areas, rockier terrain predominates. Drop offs to deep water are quick. The points, narrows, shoals and islands are favourite walleye and smallmouth bass areas. Aside from shallow bays (early in the season) try the deeper  waters in the summer and shoal areas in the fall for larger pike.  This portion of the lake is part of the Lady Evelyn Smoothwater Wilderness Park
  • a public access point is located at Mowat's Landing which is located at the end of Hwy. 558. You will have to portage around the power dam to the Lady Evelyn River. Follow the river southwest to the lake
