  • Larder Lake is located along Hwy. 66 adjacent to the town of Larder Lake in the District of Timiskaming
  • co-ordinates: Lat. 48° 05' 07"  Long. 79° 38' 32"
  • while the maximum depths reach 110', the average depth is 40'
  • the perimeter of the lake is 73 km (45 miles)
  • the lake consists of a northeast and southwest arm connected by Big Narrows
  • the lake has a variety of structure and fish cover including islands, points, rock piles, shoals, deep water narrows, steep shorelines, shallow flats and weedbeds
  • there are a number of inflowing streams and creeks. The Larder River exits the lake on the south end of the Northeast Arm
  • there is a good public boat launch beside the Waterfront Park. The marina, operated by the township, also has boat rentals
  • the major fish species include lake trout, walleye, smallmouth bass, northern pike, whitefish and yellow perch
  • Larder Lake is situated within Fisheries Management Zone 8
