Lower Beverley Lake: Quick Facts
  • Lower Beverley Lake is located adjacent to the town of Delta Ontario northwest of Charleston Lake Provincial Park in Leeds and Grenville County
  • co-ordinates: Lat. 44° 35' 52"  Long. 76° 08' 13"
  • the lake is part of the Gananoque River system. It connects to Upper Beverley Lake via the Delta Creek and to Lyndhurst Lake via Lyndhurst Creek
  • the lake consists of two basins connected by a shallow narrows
  • while the lake reaches depths of 85', the average depth is 31'
  • the perimeter of the lake is 44 km (27 miles)
  • largemouth bass, pike and panfish predominate in the shallower and weedy southern basin. These fish are also found in the northern basin. This basin has a number of islands, points, shoals and humps that smallmouth bass just love
  • there are a couple of public boat launches that gives access to the lake. One is located at the town of Delta in Lower Beverley Lake Township Park and the other is located at the village of Lyndhurst off of Water St. It backs into Lyndhurst Creek which you can follow back to Lower Beverley Lake
  • Lower Beverley Lake is found within Fisheries Management Zone 18
