  • the Seguin River flows into the lake on the north end and exits on the southwest side on its way to Georgian Bay. The dam at the south end regulates the lake's water levels
  • the perimeter of the lake is 29 km (18 miles)
  • while the lake reaches depths of 120', the average depth is 55'
  • the lake has an excellent variety of cover and structure including shallow bays, channels, points, shoals, narrows and islands
  • a public boat launch is located on the northeast side of the bridge
  • the major fish species include smallmouth bass, walleye, northern pike, black crappie, whitefish and cisco
  • Mill Lake is located within Fisheries Management Zone 15
