- Pusey Lake, also known locally as Dark Lake,
consists of 2
basins, the deeper of which stratifies thermally in the summer and
turns over in the fall
- water flows into the lake at the north end from
Cardiff
Creek and Grace Lake. There is a dam on the southwest end which
regulates the water levels. Water flows out via the Irondale River
- the perimeter of the lake is 5.6 km (3.5 miles)
- while the lake reaches depths of 125', the

- to maintain the lake trout population a shortened

- the narrows connecting the 2 basins is quite
shallow and
