  • Side A: Takes in Penetang Harbour, Midland Bay, Hog Bay, Sturgeon Bay and continues on from Port Severn  to Quarry Island
  • Side B:  Takes in the Inner and Outer Penetang Harbour and on to Beausoleil Island, Honey Harbour and north to Cognashene Pt.
  • the Severn Sound waters are fairly high in nutrient content which stimulates algae growth
  • the major fish species include large and smallmouth bass, northern pike, muskie, walleye, black crappie, perch, whitefish, carp and catfish
  • rainbow trout and salmon will make an appearance in the near shore waters by October
  •  Navigation in shallow water (outside of marked channels) can be difficult. Exercise caution and keep a sharp lookout for sub surface hazzards
  • the waters taken in by the map are situated within Fisheries Management Zone 14
