  • Sydenham Lake is located north of Kingston and south of Frontenac Provincial Park in Frontenac County
  • co-ordinates: Lat. 44° 25' 51"  Long. 76° 33' 24"
  • Sydenham Lake, with a surface area of 451 hectares (1,114 acres), consists of two distinct basins. The east side of the lake and Eels Bay are quite shallow, weedy and contain submerged logs and stumps. Largemouth bass and pike predominate. The western section of the lake reaches maximum depths of 120'. Smallmouth bass and larger pike are found here
  • the perimeter of the lake is 41.6 km (26 miles)
  • Millhaven Creek exits the lake on the west end
  • a public boat launch is located at the end of Point Road in the town of Sydenham
  • the major fish species include large and smallmouth bass, pike, black crappie, bluegill and perch
  • Sydenham Lake is located within Fisheries Management Zone 18
