  • while the lake reaches depths of 14', the average depth is only 5'
  • the perimeter of the lake is 18 km (11 miles)
  • a gravel based public boat launch is located at Camden East Centennial Park on the north end of the lake
  • major fish species include large and smallmouth bass, northern pike, perch and black crappie
  • Varty Lake is located within Fisheries Management Zone 18
