  • the lake is part of the Cedar River watershed which includes a number of other great fishing lakes including Cedar, Perrault and Cliff Lake
  • while maximum depths reach 94', the average depth is 25'
  • the lake has an irregular shoreline and consists of 7 sections or basins connected by a series of narrows. There are many islands, bays, channels, points, weed beds and shoals
  • the Anishnabi River exits the lake on the north end
  • there is a sanctuary zone in the Perrault Falls area
  • major fish species include muskie, pike, walleye, smallmouth bass, perch and whitefish
  • the lake is situated within Fisheries Management Zone 4
